No search engines work

I have a weird problem that if I try to go to a Search
Engine site, like google or askjeeves.com, it will not
load, it will have a error message I have that lavasoft
spyware thing, and that did not help. Someone help me!

I have the same problem, Yahoo will load if I type in
the URL, but it won't search for anything. Have you found
an answer?

Yea i have the same problem I go to Yahoo.com MSN.com
everything loads but when i search it says The page cannot
be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The
Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or
you may need to adjust your browser settings please help
its been like this for 1 week.

Sounds like "TrojanQhost" ........ however your AV should have detected
this!
Also your Firewall should have alerted you this Trojan was connecting!

Trojan Qhosts hijacks the HOSTS file, however unlike normal redirectors,
this one hides the HOSTS file in the "Windows\Help" folder.

You are both posting using the web interface to newsgroups
which apparently breaks everything up after 59 columns.
