No scroll in reading pane

The mouse will not scroll up and down in the reading pane for most messages.
Regular text messages are fine. I had outlook on a prior computer and did not
have this problem. When i open the message I can scroll as usual. What
setting am i missing, as i have looked through all the options ect. Thanks
 
What brand of mouse and what drivers is it using? i'm guessing it's a
logitech and it's not working on HTML messages - either change the mouse
software (look in control panel for it) office 97 scroll setting or install
miscrosoft drivers.
 
Thanks. It is a logitech and they have no fix other than to use the win xp
native drivers.
