I have a newer laptop that has an ATI-Radeon 7500 video card. I have an
s-video output port. My VCR does not have an s-video port, just the typical
RCA jack for a video-in. I also have a composite video output port on the
laptop.

What do I need to record my powerpoints to my vcr?

Thanks.

Go to Radio Shack and describe what you want to do. They will recommend a low
cost converter.

If you've only got an RCA for video in then you've only got one choice -
composite. You just need a cable to connect the 2 composites together
(probably just RCA-RCA..?).
There's next to no point trying to convert the S-video output to something
your VCR can accept if you've already got composite out on the laptop. It's
just that the quality is worse than bad...
