Can anyone tell me why I would receive the message "no
right click allowed" on some sites trying to view a
picture? Would this be a problem with IE or a mouse
problem? As you probably can tell I'm fairly new to the
computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That would be a code that webmasters put on the computer
to stop others from right clicking on pictures and
pinching them.

nothing wrong with I.E or mouse, just javascript.

Hi Cherie,

It's because they don't want anyone stealing their
images to use somewhere else.

If you really need something, do this.
File
Save As
Save it to you desktop, but make a new folder to
put it in (the little file with the asterisk on the
right)(I suppose that represents a sparkle, meaning
New?)
After you have done that, look in the folders and
you will have all the files it tool to display that
page, without being on line.

the author of the page has disabled the right click event and replaced it with his own via javascript.

Some people have graphics and pages set so no one can
right click a picture and save it or use it on their own
Ebay account . . . it's not a computer error on your part.
