First, there was a respons to your post and it fully answered your question.
Had you checked your post and clicked the plus sign next to it you might
have seen the response.
You do realize this is Labor Day weekend and a lot of people are offline
including those who most often offer help on these boards. Since you didn't
post this inline with your original post you decrease your chance of a
response.
For the benefit of others, here is your original post along with my
response, the second respons you've how received:
<One of my favorite sites will not store in my faorites
anymore.
Someoe suggested Ive losythe cookie
How do I resote a cookie and I dont recall anyother
problems nor did I intentianally disable it
Im disabled and pressty stupid
Please assit as the Computer is my life line>
If you have a full backup of your system, it's possible you could find the
cookie there. However, the simplest way is for you to return to the site
and let it deposit a cookie. You don't create a cookie, the site creates it
and deposits it on your system assuming you are not blocking cookies or have
any security software that might be blocking or deleting cookies.
That said, whether or not you are accepting cookies should have no affect on
your ability to add a site to your favorites. How are you doing performing
this function? You need only go to the site, click Favorites on the Toolbar
and select "Add to Favorites." Is that what you are doing? If yes, what
happens when you try? Please define "One of my favorite sites will not
store in my Favorites anymore." Are you receiving an error message?
These boards are an excellent idea, not an idea that was Microsoft's by the
way, they only require a small amount of knowledge to use them. Since I see
you have accessed this board from the web interface where many users, for
some reason have trouble seeing or finding responses to their questions,
perhaps you should try accessing this board through the newsreader on your
system, Outlook Express. The following link gives instructions for that
process:
