I have two problems...
The first is when I respond to a plain text email, Outlook XP doesn't
put in any reply ticks ">>", making it difficult to figure out who
typed what at a glance. I can't find the option for this in any of
the menus or control panels but I'm sure I'm just missing it. Anybody
know where this option is located in Outlook XP?
Second problem is that Outlook XP often requests the account password
when auto-checking email. This doesn't happen when I press the
"Send/Recieve" button manually.. only when the software is checking
email on its own. The problem may be that the servers are not
responding properly. I do access five separate accounts. But I never
had this problem in Outlook Express and it doesn't explain why I never
recieve the password prompts when I press the "Send/Recieve" button.
When the prompts come up and I press Enter it seems to login and
access the accounts. Does anybody know what this is all about? I
wonder if there is a way to set Outlook XP so that I can force it to
try again after a number of seconds.
Thanks for any help you can give.
