no repair your computer option

ok about 3 months ago i bought a gateway it got slow so i got more
ram still slow so i decided to do a full factory restore went into advanced
boot options
there is no repair your computer option what do i do
 
read your manual on how to perform a restore on your specific system

Hi,

Vista does not offer a repair install option. This is the result of a change
in the way it installs compared to previous versions of Windows. You will
have to backup data, etc and do a restoration to factory state.
