No reminder popups in Outlook 2003

I have a user that is not receiving any reminders for her meetings or appointments
I've already checked under Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options>Reminder Option
and the Display the reminder box is checked along with the Play reminder sound box

Is there somewhere else this setting can be suppressed from?
 
Try starting Outlook with the cleanreminders switch. outlook.exe
/cleanreminders
