no red color

My problem is I have no red color on my screen, it shows
as black.
Monitor shows red on configuration of color.
Windows themes and everything else is lacking this color.
When i go to NVIDIA configuration it still shows red as
black.

Help
 
If you are using a CRT (as opposed to an LCD) screen,
then the red electron gun has stopped putting "red" on
the screen. You need a new tube.

If the monitor can display red without input from the computer, then the
monitor's ok. That means you've got a problem with the video card or cable.
First, make sure the cable is secure at both ends and that no pins are bent
or broken. Then try another video card.
 
If your video card and RGB cable are ok, the problem will be in the monitor,
dry joints on the input socket on the monitor or in the signal processing in
the monitor, but most likely DJ's in the monitor, don't run out a buy a new
one just yet...shouldn't be too difficult to fix if you know someone who
knows what they are doing with a soldering iron !
