Hello,
My laptop (running windows 2000 professional) was working just fine
with the LAN (10/100 network) when I ran some anti spyware software
from Microsoft. After it cleaned up all the threatening files, I am
not able to get the network up. The network ikon shows connected to a
100Mbps network but in the network status details it only shows packets
transmitted which but no packet received. Even when I connected two
laptops back to back with a cross cable, the two machines can not send
receive packets to each other.
I have tried uninstalling anti-spyware programs, all kind of tcp-ip
settings, security settings etc.
Any help?
