No Reboot

All of a sudden, my laptop would no longer boot. I get a blue screen
of death (quickly goes away). All I can tell it says is "Attempt to
reset display driver failed" and "Stop 0x0...116". Repair did not fix
it.

Any suggestions where to go from here?

Additional info: I put in another hard disk, not used for months,
in. Same symptoms. So, maybe it's hardware?

Also, the machine does boot in Safe mode. Alan

Have you tried a system restore?
