I cant install a dial up connection because I do not have
Remote access service installed. I know this because I ran
an internet providers software and the install stopped
with an error saying I need to install Microsoft ras. I
tried uninstalling and reinstalling windows components
(everyone of them) several times and i still cant manualy
creat a dial up connection. when i use the connection
wizard the top 2 options are greyed out and unavailable
and cable is only available. I also tried a reinstall of
windows twice both using the repair option and still no
ras. I don't want to use the complete new install of
windows because i don't want to lose settings and have to
reinstall all my programs. Is there a way i can just
install Remote Access Service?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank You Jason
