Hi,

for some or other odd reason, no quick launch menu is
available on my system (XP). Additionally, if I right-
click on the task menu, the top entry is not toolbars,
like in my girl friend's computer, but only the entry
below that. How is this possible?

You mean if you right click your tool bar, toolbars, quick launch is not
there?
Cheers Doug

Hi and thanks for the pormpt reply,

and no, if I right-click the tool bar, the "toolbars"
entry, which is supposed to be the top entry of the menu,
is not even there anymore. Logically then, there is not
even the possibility anymore then to have the "quick
launch" option shown. Understand?

Cheers, Dominic

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Windows XP Security Console. In the
Start Menu and Taskbar section, look for Disallow Toolbars on Taskbar. If
you find it checked, uncheck it and apply the changes. If its unchecked,
check it, apply the change, then uncheck it and apply the change. Log
off/log on.

Do you think He understood?

Hey guys (or better all Dougs around here),

Yes, I understood, and everything works again. Thanks a
million from Germany! You are the best.

Ciao, Dominic
