no questions just connecting

i am wondering if anyone knows a why to connect to another
user desktop on another pc and take control without
haveing to get there permission, i know you can log in to
a remote computer but i wont control of there desktop, i
work in a company with about 200 pcs in two buildings
across the road from each other and it would save me the
trip for the little anoying things thanks

If your running a Help Desk then Remote Assistance may be
what you want to use.

The Novice, ie. the person needing help, can invite the
Expert, ie. you, to enter a RA session and you can
perform help tasks while the Novice watches. If you are
in a domain or trusted domain environment you, the
Expert, can use the "Offer RA" feature. See these KB

Otherwise VNC or may work for you. You can get the VNC
software from http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/ ,
http://www.realvnc.com or http://www.tightvnc.com

Note that the VNC data stream is *NOT* encrypted like the
RDS data stream is. Over the public internet that is a
potential security risk. Some folks run VNC through VPN
or SSH tunnels.
