No Printing w/ New XP Home installation

I cannot print on my HP officejet K60xi. I can load the drivers and they stay in the settings but absolutely nothing happens. I've tried printing from Notepad, Wordpad, command prompt and nothing. Please help ASAP!!
 
I had the same problem: I had to change the parallel port
setting in the BIOS from ECP to EPP, and that fixed it.
