HELP!
Just did latest 2000 service pack last night.
Today, Powerpoint does not recognize any printers as
installed. After checking with Word, Excel and Outlook,
they all have the printers I expect to see and were able
to print.
How do you install printers for only one application? or
what is it I need to fix?
I am using powerpoint 2002, SP-3 (9.0.6620)
office 2000 SP-4 (5.00.2195)

Thanks in advance.

You don't need to install printer drivers specifically for PowerPoint;
whatever's installed in Windows should work with it automatically.

Since it's not working out that way for you, I'd suggest deleting then
reinstalling one of the printers as a test (or just installing a single new
printer). See if PPT recognizes that.

But first, if the printer drivers are on a network, make sure you're
connected to the network too. If you're not, PPT may not see the printers.

Gave it a try. I deleted a printer and tried to re-
install. System hung up and test page never printed.
However, I was just able to print to the printer on
Outlook.
Powerpoint still does not recognize any printers, even the
newly installed one.
I am going to try the old re-boot and see if that helps.
Would appreciate any other suggestions.
Steve.

If the system can't print a test page, there's something wrong further down
the food chain that PowerPoint.

Try the reboot, see if that helps - once you can print a test page from the
driver, give PPT another shot.
