When I run a report with the printer not attached or offline I need to
get an error message so that I can redirect thatprinter elsewhere.
Right now when I run the Print Report from a command button, othing
happens. Is there a way around this? How can I get it to go to another
printer if the printer for the report is offline or not attached?
Thanks

Thanks David. I didn't see this. I also got some help from
Albert...letme play with this amd I'll let you know how it turns out.
You know...I never thought of this untill now but isn't it kind of crazy
that this isn't standard operating procedjure whenever a Databse is
set up? If the printer is in another room or floor the person sending
the report has no idea if it went or not and the person receiving the
report has no idea whether he was to receiv
e anything or not!!!!! Once again Thank You.

Sorry, again another problem. The code only checks the jobs in the Que.
It doesn't check the actual printer itself! Microsoft says tat should
be done seperatly.....and its complicated!!... and doesn't tell you
how!!! OH BOY!
Thank You
