Hi Folks !
There is no sound coming during POST. I guess thats why i disabled
the on Bord Sound Chip and use my Sound Blaster Audigy Card.
Is there any possibility to listen to the voice with a PCI Sound Card ?

Thanx 4 help :-)

Your PCI sound card needs drivers to function. At POST time you MB has not
even started your Operation System yet. If you have a powered speaker on
your Audio Out port of MB you will hear the POST voice messages.

The Voice POST is only available on the "Lineout" connector
of the motherboard. It has nothing to do with sound chips
or PCI cards. No matter whether you use a SoundBlaster or
an Audigy, the Voice POST remains on the lime colored Lineout
connector on the back of your P4C800-E Deluxe.

See page 19 of this document. The SPKOUT signal is tied to
Lineout via a capacitor, and that means that the Voice POST
signal is permanently tied to Lineout.

Thanks Paul
I try to do it that way, connect a little active speaker to it.
