No POST after BIOS update

I was trying to roll back a BIOS update to my Gigabyte 8IK1100 r1. It
has a dual bios capability to try to help with problems that might occur
in flashing or due to viruses.

After the BIOS update the machine won't even go so far as to show that
it's recognizing any devices at all. The BIOS revision doesn't show up,
nothing.... The screen just sits there blank. No friendly spin up
sounds. Everything is getting power but that's as far as it goes.

I can't even get to the point where I could try another BIOS revision.

I pulled the battery out for 30 seconds to clear the CMOS but to no avail.

Am I destined to head to Fry's for a new motherboard? :-(

If you have a Dual BIOS, read your owners manual... You should be able to
start the second BIOS or use the other BIOS to recover the first.
