No pictures with NT4/IE6

I just installed NT4 Workstation on an old desktop here. I downloaded and
installed all the current software from Windows Update. When I access a
webpage, the picture(s) do not load. The specific site that doesn't work is
http://sports.yahoo.com or any links from that page. I also tried
http://www.ups.com with the same problem. I have no problem like this with
my laptop running WinXP/IE6. I have had them side-by-side to match up the
Internet Options but still no pics on the NT box. Does anyone have the
solution for this?

On the computer with the problem, search your hd for a file named HOSTS (no
extension, and may be hidden). If found, temporarily rename the file to
something else, then test to see if the problem persists.

The only *needed* entry in HOSTS is:
127.0.0.1 localhost # loopback
