no permissions to open database file

I have some Access [v2003] databases and one particular file cannot be
opened. All the rest are okay. The one I cannot open used to be okay.
Don't quite know what has happened.
 
Are you getting some error message when you attempt to open it? Has anyone
secured this database?
 
The message is to the effect 'you do not have the permissions to open this
database...'. There is a chance that something in the security menu may have
been set - not sure exactly what though. I did something in security menu
whilst database was open, thinking it would bring up a dialog box, but it
shut the database down and came up with that message. I do have other
databases, including old copies of the one failing me, which seem to open
okay.

If someone, either yourself or someone else inadvertently messing around,
has done something through the security menu, then you may have something
going on, but it doesn't really sound like it. If you are not talking about
a large amount of data, you may want to restore one of your backup copies.
