no permission to save this directory

I have been trying to backup my QuickBooks files to a flash drive however it
will always get to a certian point and then the message: "you do not have
permission to save this directory. See the administrator to obtail
permission. I am the administrator!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!! I am running xp home
edition.
