no password hint?

I foolishly changed my password right before vacation. Of course, I've
forgotten it.

It's the admin account, and I don't have a reset disk, and yes I know how
stupid that is.

Problem is, the "hint question" is not appearing. Why might that be, and any
suggestions on getting in without re-installing everything?

nvm, I solved it.

Anyone having the same problem, search the newsgroups for "password hint."
The questions and replies will include links to several locations to create
boot disks that will allow you to find and/or change the admin passwords.
Good luck!

If the Password Hint does not appear its because you did
not enter anything originally.
