NO Password and NO Windows XP CD!

I received my sisters computer when she bought a new
one! 6 -- 7 months have passed... I cannot log into
windows because she cant remember the password! I know I
need to do a clean installation of windows xp Pro - but
guess what??? She doesnt have the original CD - so am I
up a creek without a paddle? Can she put her new Windows
XP on her old computer????
 
It's possible you could go into the Administrator's account by booting up in
Safe Mode (tapping F8 when PC starting back up) and change/delete it from
there?

Have you tried to log on with the original Administrator user:

How to Log On to Windows XP If You Forget Your Password or Your
Password Expires

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:
