No Paging file

After I installed and uninstalled WinFax on my computer,
every time when I start my computer, it shows a
message “no paging file or paging file is too small”. How
can I get paging file back?

Have you gone to system properties\advanced\performance options\virtual memory\change and viewed the current settings.
There are a couple of things that affect the creation of a pagefile.
1.Not enough contiguous free space to create the file ....use the defragmenter to assist with this.
2. The permissions on the root of the drive does not have system in the list...System needs to have full control.
3. Create a small pagefile and see if it works. If a small file works, then there is not enough space on the drive available for the pagefile.
4. The drive letter containing the pagefile has changed....create the pagefile on an existing drive.
