I've tried a sew times to find out why after a normal
shutdown, (restart or shutdown) I always start with a
scandisk or checkdisk. After taking a LONG time to reboot,
it then takes a long time to 'reload my settings'. Now,
when I try to shutdown, I get a BSOD with:
IO Systen verification error in SSRTLN.SYS (WDM driver
error 226)
[SSRTNL.SYS+2582 at FC7B6582]
Beggining dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete
Then computer freezes on that screen. The only option is
to shut off the power, reboot, and go thru the whole
process again.
Using XP Home, not networked,Norton Systemworks. Any help
appreciated as I'm about to throw this out a 3rd floor
window.
Thanx
