No News

Office 2003 on XP Pro... Followed help directions to
add "News" to "Go" menu except that I accidentally dropped
it on the pull-down menus bar rather than in the Go pull-
down. Thereafter I had a "News" pull-down. Fine until I
decided to correct this and deleted the News pull-down.
Now News is not available in the menu customization area
for adding it back to ANY menu.

Any suggestions?
 
I added "News" to the top menu bar. Thus "used" once (as you have
done). I went back to the Menu: Tools/Customize, Tab: Commands, and in
Categories section I selected "go" and "news" is still there and able to
be dragged anywhere yet again. Are you saying it is missing from this
location?

Oops... Closed Outlook and restarted... News has disappeared again form the Go menu and it's now NOT available from the Commands tab.
