No more sound stutter

I fixed my problem. After two sleepless nights and
getting nowhere, I opened up the computer and pulled out
the Ultra controller card and through it out into the
street. Came back in and plugged my original 20 gig
drive directly into the motherboard where it was
originally and plugged the 160 gig Western Digital to it
as a slave drive. Now sound quality is perfect. Drive
reads 148gigs free space available.

I don't know if this helps anyone, but it sure helped
me. It was frustrating with the stutter and pops trying
to play mp3s.
