Some time ago I decided to try a refilled non-original cartridge for my HP
deskjet 720c. (Brand: Xerox, expiration date: 2005, price: 20 Euro)
Yesterday my ink ran out so I installed this cartridge and continued my
printing, or so I thought. No way: it printed all coluurs in pink. And no
yellow at all...
After this refill experience I think I'm going to stick with the expensive
original ones, which never gave any trouble.

A Xerox HP 720C cartridge?
I thought Xerox was associated with Lexmark?

Anything could have gone wrong with DIY refilling. In your case, it
sounds like your ink nozzle had dried out. Waiting until the cart's
empty is one way to get dried ink or burned out nozzles.

Sorry to hear you had problem but it's your money.

It might help if you READ the OP's post correctly. It was NOT a "DIY
refilling."

The problem was apparently caused by a third party remanufactured ink
cartridge that is/was defective.

I got it refunded. But I don't have time to visit retailer each week...
