I have a desktop with Vista Ultimate and a laptop with Vista Home. After a
while the desktop starts refusing network connections claiming "no more
connections available".
A check in Computer Management on the Desktop reveals there are 10 open
connections from the laptop. Most have # Open files set to 0 but several are
set to very large negative integers.
All of them fail a close session request with "Error 2: The system cannot
find the file specified"
Only fix seems to be a reboot of the desktop. The problem eventual reoccurs.
This is highly irritating! Any know fixes?
