i thought it was to do with my graphics card being incorrectly fitted into
the agp slot.
i changed cards, and still the same. i even inserted a bog standard pci
card in, and i'm still getting the same problem.
i can (just about) hear the speaker saying "you don't have........ (i can't
make the rest out).
i have an amd athlon 1900 running. could it be SYSCLK set incorrectly, or
maybe VID1-4 set wrong.
i'm just grasping as straws as i really don't know what the problem may be?
i bought it from a newsgroup. any change of asus fixing this if it's under
warranty (i don't know if it is, so i'll have to ask the seller).
thanks all
