My MOH isn't working with 5.9's. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a
fix? It executes perfectly if i revert back to 5.8 and lower, but ATI and
Omega 5.9 will not run my MOH. It starts to open and hangs so badly that i
can't ctrl alt del out of it and have to restart my computer every time.

I have been having a similar problem, but didn't connect it to the 5.9
drivers. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the game, it doesn't
help at all. "MoHAA has encountered a problem and needs to restart".
Games seems to install OK, but trying to run it calls forth the error
message

I couldn't get MOH to run on 5.8, so I am currently using the 5.6s because
of that.

I got MOH working with a revert to 5.8 ATI drivers, as did the original
poster. Any idea why the 5.9 drivers would stop this game from working? I
hope they will fix this in the next driver update which should be 6.0. I
have been using only the simple control panel version. I had installed 5.9
drivers as per the instructions from ATI.

MOH ran fine for me but MOHAA would not run it would start then crash
to desk top with error been that way since 5.0 drivers I uninstalled
it and now play BF2, by the way I got it to work if I extracted the
open gl drivers from the 4.11 drivers and put it in the system folder

No, the next driver will be 5.10 in Oktober. The 6.x drivers will not come
before 2006.

Hmm, that's odd I have the 5.9's and just played through the first few
campaigns and had my FPS never drop below around 95. No problems with
it whatsoever. Perhaps it's a combination of the 5.9's with a
particular card, I have an 8500, whereas you guys probably have newer
cards....

been happening since version 5.8. It's irritating as hell. I even
uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and no help.

being as its a Quake 3 engine game is there any possibility of just
putting an older OpenGL.dll file in the games directory so it uses that
rather than the one under c:\windows ?
