No mail notification....

I believe I used to have e-mail notification on my Internet Explorer
when I had mail in my inbox.
I use Windows Mail as the default client and I have looked both in
Internet Explorer Tools and Mail tools for a notification setting and
can't find one...
Is there a fix??? I want the number of e-mails in my Inbox to be on
my Letter Icon on the Explorer taskbar near the top......

Windows IE never had notification. You may be thinking of Microsoft's
homepage which shows it for the Microsoft or Hotmail account registered for
that homepage.
