No Longer Able to view emails

Upon set up of the Windows Mail on my new Vista machine I was able to recieve
email for several weeks. NOw I get the following error:

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'pop-server.austin.rr.com', Server:
'pop-server.austin.rr.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800C0148

There is nothing wrong with my email account with Road Runner and I can
still get those email from the internet site. Why can I not access them
through WinMail any longer?
 
Make sure you are not using incompatible third party security
software. Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee
or Norton security programs. Those will need to be
uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
