I have 2 laptop computers that I use at work and log on
to a domain. Bringing them home, I want to be able to
transfer files via a router. When I go to Explorer-->
Microsoft Windows Network, they can see each other,
however when I try to see the files on the other
computer, it asks to login. I try my normal logon, but
it says I'm already logged on under that name and have to
use another. When I try loging on under the Guest
account, it says no logon servers available. I checked
the shares and it says C$ is shared. What can I do to
access these?

Try connecting with the IP address i.e. \\10.0.0.1\c$ or net use *
\\10.0.0.1\c$ (substitute 10.0.0.1 with the IP of the computer you want to
connect to).
