Hopefully an easy question here. I want to use an old PC (with a tv out
card) to play music in another room. Anyway, I want to be able to use the
computer without a keyboard. Is there any way to get the PC to boot up
without a keyboard attached?

Thanks.

What OS are you planning on using?

Try putting the bios into Stop On No Errors, power down, remove the keyboard
and see what happens.

I suspect that'll take care of bios stopping on the missing keyboard, and it
should load a boot block, but I suspect any MS OS is going to complain...

detected and keeps right on booting. My keyboard is not seen until
windows boots up.

Might have helped if I said it was an old PII Compaq with WinME. When I
boot up it says "keyboard not present" error (or something like that)
and then says "f1 to boot" (duh). Just wondering in general if anybody
has done this before. If it's possible.
