Hi all you ie experts,
I cannot get my browser to show me any Javascript Errors. It is the
latest ver 6.0.29blabla. I have set and unset all the pertinent
settings under advanced and get no change. It used to show me the
errors, before I upgraded my system and reinstalled everything. I need
these error messages to help me debug. I don't even get a ! in the
bottom corner. If you could offer any suggestions it might save the
rest of my hair. :)
Thanks

IE can display Microsoft VM errors, but surely you're not still programming
with the Microsoft VM (aka Microsoft Java)? It was withdrawn years ago and
is no longer supported.

Ted: He's having problems with JavaScript errors, not Java.

Perhaps the OP is not aware of the difference?

Before the OP "upgraded my system and reinstalled everything" the computer
might still have had the MS VM, and IE did display errors for that when it
was configured to do so. That's how I interpreted the post.

Hopefully the OP will repost and set the record straight.

Which debugger are you using?

I don't even get a ! in the bottom corner.

Perhaps it is the problem? <w>

Good luck
