AdAware does the same real time protection if you
purchase the retail version.

If a beta doesn't come close to a competitors retail
version, and I believe MS is going to CHARGE for the
program once it is out of beta, what is the advantage?
According to the program, there is a 120 day window for
the beta and if it isn't working like existing software,
it won't sell!

Now, if MS is going to make it available as a FREE XP
update with full funtionality that is another story.

Do you want to run a beta program forever? I also suspect that you are
encountering the issue with MSAS not finding cookies/dataminers (that is
what adaware is detecting). Also final version will be free to all licensed
Windows users.

1) Submit suspected spyware report in the tools menu of Antispyware
2) Reboot in safe mode and run a deep scan
3) Run antivirus (with current definitions) while you are in safe mode.

Hi Uncle Steve,
Gee Whiz, I think you got it right!

Microsoft has announced that the release version of MWAS will be available
at no additional cost to licensed Windows customers.
They've also announced that a product suitable for the Enterprise will be
available at some future time, and will have a cost associated with it.
