No 'invite attendees' button in new appointment window

The other computers on the network show the 'invite
attendees' button in the new appointment window, which is
what I want. I have just loaded on Outlook 2002 to a new
computer and it does not show this button.

1. Do you have the standard toolbar up?
2. Do you have the "cancel invitation" button?

There is a difference between a meeting and an appointment. You switch by
pressing cancel invitation/invite others
