no internet!!!

My husband turned on his computer and can not get to the internet. He has changed his NIC and that wasn't the problem. Any ideas?

They couldn't help since I am on the internet they said it must be something else. We are on a router and he checked his connections, they are ok. Got anymore ideas? Thanks
 
Have you tried checking your settings in control panel, under Network and Internet Connections/Network Connections? If not, try to enable the connection in network connections. If you've been through these steps and continue to have further issues, or difficulty connecting, please reply including more detail than you first provided, and I will assist you in this matter.
