Hi,

I just came across a network with a 2000 Server and about 8 2000
Professionals. The network connects to the Interent through a Linksys
router. The server is up to date with all the SPs and what not. My question
is with the w/s they've never had the Internet wizard ran, so they can't
access the Internet, are they still open to the Internet if someone hacked
in through the router or worm or virsuses and what not? There is no current
firewall either.

Thanks,

Depends on what ports are open but yes. These two come to mind as no
internet activity required.
