Alright , this started right after i reformatted my pc because all of the programs extension were not working so after reinstalling win xp home edition , i can't seem to connect to the internet anymore which was kind of frustrating because its my first time doing this ( configuring ) .. and also as for my internet protocol , all of them are unavaiable that includes the address type , IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway . Pls help and thanks in adv.

What’s your IP?

Start -

Control Panel

Internet Connections

Look for "LAN or High speed Internet"

Right Click on the little Icon

"Status"

Your IP will be in there.

Who provides your connection - your ISP?

Much Appreciated

Mikey

100mbps is your LAN connection speed, but it will be restricted by your ISP speed, i think about 1mb would only need 10mbps

Very fast T1 connections take up about 45mbps

Hope that helps
