I have a PC at home, that has no Internet connection.
1) Do I still need anti-spyware?
2) If so, is it possible to download updates while I'm at
work, then carry them home and install them on my home PC?

No you cannot save signatures, but if you download the latest build at work
from Microsoft AntiSpyware web page, you will get the latest signatures.

Or at least this used to be true. It's unclear at the moment, but at least
you'll get Feb drivers.

Why would he even need anti-spyware if he has no internet connection? Where
is he going to get spyware?.......If he installs applications that he's
downloaded somewhere else he could install a virus or other type of malware,
but "spyware"?........what does it matter if he's not online?

that ocurred to me--my own answer is that any machine not physically secured
is at risk--acquaintances visitors could install a keylogger. Why would be
a question, of course--but perhaps the machine is not connected to the
Internet because of a security concern, and it is used for some purpose
which would be of interest to others somehow.
