I have a two machine network thru a hub.
Data transfer works fine. Not able to get internet connection
on the client machine. Talked to Linksys for 1 hour, no fix.
I have tried auto config of IP address etc as well as manual
config of IP, DNS, etc.
Tried repair function x2.
Tried uninstall-reinstall no fix.
Status says NIC working properly.

What might be the problem?

TIA

Please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail) with
more information to help other people understand the problem. For
example:

What type of Internet connection do you have: dial-up, cable modem,
DSL, something else?

How does the Internet connect to your network? Is it connected to the
hub? Is it connected to a second NIC in one of the computers?
Something else?

Have you enabled Internet Connection Sharing on the other machine?

The more details you give, the more likely it is that someone can
help.
