no internet but can email

I have uninstalled the networking but still can not:
No Internet
No pcanywhere
No WinVNC

I can not remotely fix it.
No local shares can be accessed.
But internet email on Outlook Express does work.
Any help or advise would help.

You cannot expect Internet access to work while networking
is uninstalled. I recommend that you install networking, then
provide full details of your networking setup if things still don't
work. The output from the command ipconfig /all would
be particularly important.
 
Uninstalled and reinstalled the NIC.
Still no web access.
Email will retrieve. Outlook.
No internet via a Browser.
Ipconfig is correct as far as
ip
mask
GW
DNS servers.
ping reolves names and ping to ip's is ok.
 
Try another browser, e.g. Firefox.

already tried that.
virus scan
adaware scan
updated the os via auto update in the control panel.
updated the nic driver.
 
Here are a few more suggestions that might help you home
in on the cause of your problem.
- Turn off your PC-based firewall while testing.
- Carefully examine your hardware firewall settings.
- Try these commands from a Command Prompt:
ping www.google.com
telnet www.google.com 80
