|True. In addition, always seeing with TUN the bunch of registry entries made
|by these so called "no install", now I think that the install progs are much
|safer for people in general, because they come with an uninstall applet
|which can remove many, if not all, their registry entries.
|With these "no installs" people think it's enough to delete some folder,
|ignoring all the junk left (not only the added keys, but, even more
|important, the modifications in the existing keys).
ZipInstaller could always be used to "install" the "no install"
programs.
ZipInstaller
The ZipInstaller utility installs and uninstalls applications and
utilities that do not provide an internal installation program. It
automatically extracts all files from the Zip file, copies them to the
destination folder you select, creates shortcuts in the start menu and
in your desktop, and adds an uninstall module to allow you to
automatically remove the software in the future.
