No "History"

I am unable to view any History using Windows XP home
version and internet explorer 6. Anyone heard of this
problem?
I have already tried the most obvious solution
using "internet options."
 
I have the opposite problem - no matter how many times I
click Clear History, it won't do it. I hope you get an
answer!

If you are using McAfee anti-virus turn off the ActiveX part of Internet
Filter.
 
I had this problem a while back, and it turned out that
it was a result of using the McAfee virus program. I
can't recall what I was advised to do, but I turned a
setting off within the Virus program and I started to see
my history again. You might want to investigate that
angle if you are using McAfee software. Bob Robinson
