No history and IE cannot work offline

i got 2 problems i am currently facing with Internet
Explorer 6.
1. when i click on the history button, there is nothing,
it is just a blank page there. no matter how many websites
i visited, there is still no record of the sites i visited
in the history folder.

2. everytime i reboot the computer, the computer will
automatically delete all the files in the temperory
internet files folder. and it took me a long time waiting
for the same website that i visit daily to load.

i downloaded internet explorer 6 from the Microsoft
website and reinstall it. it still had the same problems.

it is possible to achieve the 'problem' you have using
the registry or a tweaking app such as tweakui for
privacy purposes, I suspect somehow these settings have
occurred by mistake. Download tweakui, and look and ie
options.
