I am having trouble with a couple of programs. First; I receive no help files
in an accounting program that uses html (and IE) to open them. I have been
to their support people and spent hours on the phone trying to correct this
and when all is said and done it is not corrected still; the problem lies
with something interacting with IE 6. Now I have recently tried to develop a
website that uses Trellix and a template - and I cant edit any text. The
support people there have also stated, I have a corrupt IE 6. Anytime I try
to edit teh text; the program shuts down with Microsoft explorer has
encountered a problem and will shut down this program asking me if I want to
send the report to Microsoft. It then kicks me off offline. Can I get any
help with this here?? Any answers would be appreciated. Should I delete IE 6
and try and download another? How would I do this??

That's not going to help unless you also visit Windows Updates site
and get the latest cumulative patches. If after doing that you still have
trouble using Help functions you may have to reapply Q811630
and re-register hhctrl.ocx. FWIW I used to have to do that after each
cumulative IE patch but I think that the latest ones have finally fixed the
problem that forced me to do that.

Good luck
