Have just formatted my Pc with Windows Xp Pro and now have 3 drives listed
but can only access (c) system drive. Have tried Computer management and
cannot get it to configure them. Please help Martin.

Hi, Martin.

We're just shooting in the dark until you tell us more about your hardware
configuration, especially your hard drives. Remember that we can't see your
computer. ALL we know about it is what you've told us. So far, that isn't
much. :>(

How many HDs do you have? Make and model? Interface (SCSI, IDE, SATA or
???) How are they partitioned and formatted? Are these brand new drives,
or were they previously partitioned and/or formatted?

By Computer Management, do you mean Disk Management?

You know, of course, that you don't actually format a hard drive. You must
first create one or more partitions on it, then format each partition
individually and assign it a "drive" letter. If you create an extended
partition, it does not get a letter and can't be formatted, but you can
create one or more logical drives within the extended partition and each of
those gets and letter and can be separately formatted.

Tell us more facts about your system and we probably can help.
